Sandi was raised on a working cattle ranch.  She broke and trained horses from the age of 10.  Sandi claims to have 90 % horse blood in her veins. Training race and show horses along with the arts while living in Montana for 18 years was the best art instruction she could have had.

She has packed mules, cooked in hunting camps, drove big rig, and spent a summer as a range rider in the mountains of Idaho.  With no formal training in arts, Sandi has been very successful in marketing the art she loves to create.

Sandi also makes all of her own frames.  Her motto is; forget diamonds and furs, buy me power tools.  Husband Ray keeps the lawn mowed and the woodshed full so that Sandi can stay in the studio or wood room as much as she wishes.

Sculpture, Paintings in oil on canvas , and miniatures are her chosen art forms.

Sandi raises miniature Australian Shepherd dogs, manages a senior center and tries to work on her art every day.

Sandi has recently published a childrens book.  " An Adventure with Rainy Two Step"
